The Role

 

The General Accountant ensures the integrity of FUJIFILM Electronic Materials accounting information. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, auditing financial documents and procedures, account reconciling and tax document preparation.

External US

Key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Accounting duties, including the preparation of:
    • Journal entries
    • Account reconciliations
    • Variance analysis
    • Documentation & evidence of the performance of internal controls / SOX
    • Documentation & evidence of annual external audit
    • Preparation of Government and Tax reports as required.
  • The Company operates with two primary ERPs in North America, SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Will need to become proficient in both systems environments.
  • Support standardization of processes and controls & seek continuous improvement
  • Support implementation of new processes
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit and the External Audit teams, providing appropriate support

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 3 to 5 plus years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment required
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships within a team environment and across departments
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks in an environment of changing priorities
  • Advanced Accounting Principles, Excel, and SAP
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
