Job Purpose: This position is intended to receive, monitor, and maintain the inventory of all medical parts used in the repair of the ES Product line. This position is responsible for filling parts orders for the Repair Centers, Service Partners, and Internal Orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check the parts received from Headquarters against respective invoices and report any discrepancies to Purchasing. Create and process Inbound Deliveries. Receive all part shipments in SAP in a timely manner.
  • Create a physical location for any new parts within the Parts Room. Over sees the ‘put-a- way’ process to make sure parts are in the proper location and are stored properly.
  • Coordinates Daily priorities for Picking Parts for the Repair Centers, Service Partners, and Internal Orders. Ensure that all paperwork for parts orders is completed and part orders are labeled with the corresponding RMA#. Process in SAP accordingly.
  • Ensure that all MSDS sheets and documentation are included with the shipment of hazardous materials to Service Partners.
  • Ensure that the Service Partners orders that are picked are brought to the shipping department by 4:00 pm each day.
  • Any additional part requests needed to complete a repair should be processed as soon as possible to avoid delays in the Repair shop.
  • Lead person to Perform cycle counts. Actively searches and assists in finding misplaced product.
  • Main contact to inspectors and repair technicians; providing guidance to junior team members.
  • Process urgent request such as additional parts (add-ons).
  • Follows FIFO procedures when restocking and picking inventory.
  • Reviews "Shop Use Form" and process in SAP.
  • Responsible for monitoring shop-use inventory such as spare parts and tools and reporting level and ordering needs.
  • Enter Excel worksheet Partner Invoices and forward to Purchasing.
  • Communicate to Management Low Inventory levels and back ordered materials.
  • Performs transactions in SAP and ExFM as necessary.
  • Back-up to all parts room staff.
  • Cross train on other department activities and assists when necessary.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Order boxes, plastic containers, etc. as necessary to maintain the proper function and organization within the Parts Department.
  • Maintain an organized and clean Parts room, ensuring all products in are the proper locations. Shares responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the parts room. Sweep the parts room every day before leaving.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum seven years’ experience in a Warehouse Distribution environment.
  • Experience working in a Quality controlled and validated System.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.

Educational Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

Special Skills or Other Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google documents.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • Ability to achieve results and deliver on objectives.
  • Experience in Cycle counting a plus.

Physical Requirements:

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

Travel:

  • Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
