Summary:

 

The Business Applications Manager is responsible for all business applications support across Fujifilm Sonosite and Fujifilm VisualSonics including supporting projects/programs. Lead the design of our applications, as well as the development and delivery efforts in support of maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise applications. Provides strategic direction for both the business and application teams for how to best support the business’s objectives. Works with business analysts and power users across the business to ensure each department is successfully utilizing their applications. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for managing the support of the Production business applications including system modifications and maintenance
  • Responsible for oversite of all application support, development and deployment
  • Responsible for developing, managing and executing an Applications roadmap working with the senior management and key stakeholders of the business.
  • Responsible for business relationships, application performance, and the identification and delivery of new and existing application services to meet the business users known and emerging needs.
  • Responsible for building, managing, and delivering a portfolio of technology programs and projects that improve business process capabilities.
  • Responsible for establishing priorities and schedules for business application projects.
  • Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of both functional and technical and projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
  • Responsible for directing and evaluating feasibility studies, project scoping and project planning for business application projects.
  • Collaborate with business and key IT stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule applications development and enhancement requests, while providing direction and guidance to the applications development staff.
  • Partner with departmental leaders and Fujifilm IT leaders to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures holistically.
  • Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering quality applications and support with controlled and planned change management.
  • Communicate project status to various levels of management.
  • Responsible for managing the support of the Production business applications including system modifications, maintenance and patching.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, and 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in an ERP or Manufacturing environment, Oracle eBusiness Suite experience a requirement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role on an application delivery team.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.
  • Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support (ERP/CRM), and a strong business understanding.
  • The ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodations.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $115,000 - $150,000 depending on experience + variable bonus opportunity
