Job Purpose: Reports directly to the Director, Marketing & Communications in the Endoscopy division, and will proactively drive initiatives and projects related to key business events and communication platforms. The Marketing Specialist - Events & Lead Generation responsibilities cover 3 main areas:

1) EVENTS: coordination of major tradeshows as well as East and Central regional events and educational courses for Endoscopy, Endosurgery, Pulmonary, and MIS product lines.

 

2) LEAD MANAGEMENT: list/contact management in Marketing & Sales platforms (e.g. Pardot, Salesforce), as well as processing, managing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on marketing leads and campaigns generated across multiple sources for Endoscopy, Endosurgery, Pulmonary, and MIS product lines.

 

3) SOCIETIES: liaison on marketing activities related to key Endoscopy societies, such as ASGE, SGNA, FITE, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Primary support for activities associated with the proactive coordination and communication on major Endoscopy, Endosurgery, Pulmonary & MIS trade shows, regional, and educational events will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities (50%):

  • Proactive outreach and gathering of information needed to participate in and produce each event, identifying activities and equipment needed to ensure event success.
  • Review and consideration of event participation levels and requirements, involving key stakeholders as needed.
  • Timely, proactive sharing of pertinent event production information with key stakeholders, e.g. product managers, sales, marketing communications, executive director, and other personnel involved.
  • Coordination of endoscopy products and materials to send to appropriate event personnel, e.g. ensuring shipping of product and materials, forwarding of marketing assets to event staff, etc.
  • Organizing, proactive timely development, posting, and management of needed communications and materials for trade shows, regional and educational events onto Showpad Events Experience in support of sales enablement, staffing, and lead generation.
  • Proactive and timely communication of and adherence to event-related deadlines.
  • Collaboration in the management, processing, and optimization of the Request Forms portal.
  • Maximize management of event leads from optimization of collection set up to Inside Sales follow up to tracking and measuring of sales ROI impact.
  • Coordinating efforts with product managers, sales, and marketing communications, take the lead in tracking and reporting on the overall performance of trade show and regional events, including lead collection and quality assessment from each event, and participate in making future participation recommendations • Ensuring all expenditures are accrued for and shared with manager and budget manager on a monthly basis, providing information in a timely manner to enable monthly and quarterly budget reconciliation and reporting.

List/contact management in Marketing & Sales platforms, as well as processing, managing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting for marketing leads will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities (35%):

  • List/contact management for all Endoscopy, Endosurgery, Pulmonary, and MIS contacts and lists in Email Marketing platform (e.g. Pardot), including appropriate set up of new and existing contacts and campaigns to ensure optimization of both communication to key audiences and platform costs.
  • Set up, maintenance, and tracking of campaigns in Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud) for each lead generation event and marketing campaign activity.
  • Uploading of marketing leads to Salesforce for appropriate Inside Sales and Direct Sales follow up and tracking as appropriate.
  • Responsible for developing and ensuring lead management structures and processes are in place to facilitate and optimize lead capture and lead management activities both within and outside lead management-related platforms (Salesforce, email marketing), e.g. automated workflows, templates, lead scoring, etc.
  • Analyze and track leads and campaigns from point of interest through the lead generation process to final sales/closure, discovering and reporting on performance trends and ensuring timely follow up from Inside Sales and from Field Sales on qualified leads.
  • Surface current customers whose lease is coming to term and providing information needed to help develop and execute on targeted communication campaigns.
  • Set up, generate, and provide monthly/quarterly/ad hoc dashboard and summary reports on marketing leads as identified by Manager, and provide reports to key stakeholders for review and sharing.
  • Endoscopy list segmentation within Pardot, taking guidance and direction from Manager on set up and maintenance.
  • Take a lead role in special projects that impact leads, such as the sourcing new vendors when needed and with integration of Salesforce and Pardot, which impact marketing lead processing.
  • Help ensure set up/application of UTM codes for marketing campaign communications to support lead tracking and performance measurement.
  • Source opportunities for marketing to optimize and strengthen lead generation activities.

Liaison activities related to key societies, ASGE, SGNA, FITE, etc. will include the following responsibilities (15%):

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key society relationships and for communications.
    • Negotiate sponsorship levels, with input from Manager, and coordinate educational and promotional opportunities.
  • Inform and collaborate with Manager on promotional opportunities to ensure we leverage each opportunity in a timely and coordinated fashion.

Qualifications:

 

BA or BS degree in Marketing or related field

  • 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in event coordination or management.
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing/sales lead management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing the following technology:
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud.
    • Salesforce Pardot or similar e-marketing platform.
    • MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
    • Showpad, as utilized for events coordination, communication, sales enablement.
    • Adobe Acrobat.
    • Achieve proficiency with company proprietary platforms as needed.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and capabilities for the following attributes:

    • Working with a sense of urgency and timeliness in communication.
    • Understanding and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 lbs.

Travel:

  • Occasional (up to 15%) travel may be required based on business need.
