Job Summary:

 

The Manager, Healthcare Implementation will oversee the Medical Informatics Team, and is responsible for ensuring FFSSs Healthcare focused Informatics products and solutions are successfully adopted in their respective geography /customer segment. This role is strategic to our ability to win the business transformation currently underway in the healthcare industry. To accomplish this, the Manager, Healthcare Implementation must work in a consultative manner in all aspects of our healthcare GTM strategy and vertical eco-system.

 

Consulting Expectations

The person will be responsible for working with the FFSS field sales team to position FFSSs solutions value in the context of industry specific regulations, challenges and business drivers. In addition, they will work closely with customers and partners to influence and support their understanding of our technological differentiators, architectural advantages and financial benefits. The Manager of Healthcare Implementation should take a prominent role in both shaping and evangelizing our Medical informatics vision, message and solutions focusing on the Business side of our Customers mission.  

 

Project Managing Expectations

Developing the implementation master project plan including project deliverables and milestones, communicate the project schedule and milestones to the client and Contractor team members, ensure proper deliverables and manage the implementation of a totally integrated solution encompassing hardware and software. Other services include installation, configuration, system administration, maintenance, on-going contracted services, and all associated documentation.

The Manager, Healthcare Implementation will have end to end ownership to build customized solutions and roadmaps to meet a clients unique business needs. Activities include, developing the implementation master project plan including project deliverables and milestones, communicate the project schedule and milestones to the client and Contractor team members, ensure proper deliverables and manage the implementation of a totally integrated solution encompassing hardware and software. Other services include installation, configuration, system administration, maintenance, on-going contracted services, and all associated documentation. The Manager, Healthcare Implementation should have excellent listening skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to solve complex problems, be a big picture thinker and be able to visualize the solution. The Manager, Healthcare Implementation should also be able to act as a trusted advisor to executive management and be able to bridge business and technology with credibility. With a clear and agreed upon client vision, you will be responsible for designing the solution to realize the vision. As the Manager, Healthcare Implementation you will be responsible for owning the solution and support the creation of a detailed design and updating the design when needed. With an accepted design, the Manager, Healthcare Implementation will support the development of the solution by working with specialists, Architects, Consultants to lead the development of the solution.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Leverage your proven Healthcare technology and industry expertise to help our customers realize their business goals by the thoughtful and credible application of FFSS technology, solutions and services.
  • Engage FFSS technical and business partners to provide solutions and end customer experience for Medical informatics products focused in the Point of Care Ultrasound market.
  • Manage the team and become a trusted advisor and business partner to both our customers and our Healthcare sales and services teams, ultimately helping each achieve their goals.
  • Build C-level relationships with FFSSs customer and partners that result in deeper loyalty to FFSS and broader adoption of FFSSs solutions
  • Expand FFSSs influence with key industry thought leaders and customers by helping to develop, articulate, and refine our overall strategy, technology vision, and build case study examples of customer impact
  • Blogging, industry articles and relevant industry events/social media will be expected
  • Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical objectives, and product requirements
  • Support proposals to ensure they are technically sound, competitive, and representative of market leadership in the application of the technology to addressing business / market needs and issues
  • Align with the FFSS field sales/service executive(s) to develop, implement and maintain a plan for their assigned area(s)/accounts that is aligned with the overall FFSS GTM sales strategy.
  • Activities will include healing sales teams in terms of account acquisition and opportunity planning, business value mapping, partner alignment, training, and solutions definition/ development, etc.
  • Participation in regular territory reviews with regional sales teams resulting in a detailed understanding of the top deals in the region

 

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years or more of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Required understanding of Point of Care Ultrasound market when it comes to Healthcare IT solutions in the provider space.
  • A thorough understanding of the Healthcare industry, its current challenges (e.g., security) and how the technology ecosystem plays a role in the industrys current transformation.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate how FFSS products and our product roadmap align to our overall technology vision
  • Demonstrated skill set and track record in relationship-building and influence skills across a broad constituency ranging from C-Suite executives, clinical leaders, caregivers and information technology teams.
  • Experience with clinical applications and clinician workflow processes and patient care impact. EMR/EHR’s (e.g. EPIC, Cerner, Centricity IDX, MEDITECH, Allscripts etc.). “Working experience with HL7 Interface Engines (e.g. Cloverleaf, DataGate, Corepoint, etc), and a strong familiarity with Core Measures requirements.
  • Must have experience with healthcare IT applications, architecture and business processes. (PACS, VNA’s, and HIE integration and testing) Traditional imaging modality experience required. Experience with non-traditional modalities and specialties a plus especially with regards to VNA integration.
  • Ability to navigate both customer and internal FFSS organizations and develop trust-based relationships
  • Must have working experience reading DICOM conformance statements, MDS2’s and IHE integration statements
  • Must be able to clearly understand and articulate how both technology and people/patients impact a Hospitals security and compliance stance.
  • Direct and prior experience with security products and solutions including but not limited to:
    • Networking: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and network architectures
    • Mobile/Device: MDMs
    • Compliance Tools & Regulations: DLP, Auditing software, HIPAA, PCI etc.
  • Prior Management experience required.
