Job Summary:

 

The summer intern works with our DOORS DNG lead engineer to develop reporting capabilities on the DOORS Next Gen platform and interface the reports to a KPI reporting platform to enable the organization to view the weekly progress.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Architect and build the reporting platform for SonoSite to generate reports automatically, on demand and customize the reports.
  • Interface the reporting platform to the corporate wise display system to present the weekly reports
  • Work in close collaboration with the DNG lead engineers(s)
  • Write the architectural specification, requirements specification, code, test routines for the reporting platform

 

 

Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Must be enrolled in a 4 year college or university in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or other technical discipline.
  • Excellent JavaSript knowledge is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and design software with the guidance of the lead engineers.

 

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to take initiative and quickly learn new concepts
  • Able to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations
  • Takes pride in their work with attention to detail and a desire for quality
