Newspaper Account Manager - Southwest


We are hiring for a Newspaper Account Manager for our Southwest Region. 


The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver solutions for workflow, consultative services, remote monitoring, color standardization and G7 implementation, pressroom products, CTP, proofing, digital printing, wide format and more. FUJIFILM also manufactures and distributes Sericol inks and is a leader in the development of UV inks for the screen printing, narrow web, and large format digital printing industries. 


As the Newspaper Account Manager you will report to the Vice President, Corporate  Accounts and Newspaper Sales and be responsible for achieving sales goals, objectives and managing sales activity to profitably increase sales and market share in the Newspaper Segment.

Some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to:


  • Participate in defining sales objectives and in development of annual sales goals 
  • Implement sales programs and sales action plans.
  • Manage key customer relationships and drive closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers to develop key relationships
  • Establish personal networks that support sales goals – e.g. non-competitive suppliers to the market
  • Timely submission of required reports
  • Coordinate  with our marketing department to support sales programs
  • Keep current with changing trends, product applications, customer expectations and competitive activity 
  • Provide and/or assist in collection of  data
  • Perform related duties as assigned by manager



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5 or more years of sales or operational experience within the Newspaper Market
  • 7 or more years of experience in graphic arts industry or related field
  • Proficient in a variety of graphic arts printing equipment/systems – e.g. knowledge of offset plate making, offset printing condition parameters, and lithography).
  • Knowledge of current graphic arts technology, specifically newspaper and trends in industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel 50% or more
