It's an exciting time to be joining FUJIFILM.  We are hiring for an Oracle Application Manager for our beautiful Bothell, Washington location. As the Oracle Application Manager will report to the HLUS-IT Application Services Director and be responsible for maintenance, support and further development of Oracle EBS application which include designing, developing, testing and delivering new key projects and the support of production tickets.  


As the senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the 24×7 availability of mission critical production environments.   You will be expected to perform multiple functions, including the resolution of production problems and assisting users with business issues. You must have substantial hands-on technical experience in addition to strong conceptual knowledge about Oracle EBS, and underlying architecture and fundamentals.

In this individual contributor role, you will be the key liaison between Fujifilm and 3rd Party consultants.

Some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support production environment continuity for Oracle EBS
  • Coordinate, manage, test and implement system upgrades, patches, bug fixes, enhancements and system interfaces
  • Administer Oracle applications related functions and processes
  • Setup and configuration of Oracle modules to facilitate business processes and controls
  • Key liaison between end-users and IT for successful delivery of projects and or operational support
  • Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly
  • Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn attitude is required
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills; creative thinking
  • Solve complex issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of Oracle EBS applications functionality and technology.
  • Ability to support customizations, sharing implementation and best practices advice.
  • Ability to develop application break fixes for critical product defects and ability to create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues.
  • Work extensively with Oracle Support to analyze and resolve SR issues
  • Advocates and advances usage and value of business systems wherever opportunities arise
  • Identifies, evaluates and advocates technologies and solutions to support and improve the overall business process
  • Requires ability to work on assigned tasks independently with limited direction.
  • Nurturing and maintaining healthy relationship between multiple parties (i.e, Business, IT and Vendors) to ensure maximum availability and peak service levels of existing IT applications


Required skills:


  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge in Oracle EBS 11i or R12 (AP, GL, FA, Cash, Expense, Procurement, Purchasing, etc.)
  • 5-7 years management and development experience in Oracle EBS
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database
  • Experience with API and custom interfaces
  • Self-motivated and work well in a team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Effective in multi-tasking and handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent requirements gathering and management, including defining and managing scope and requirement changes
  • Prior experience in effectively managing vendors to deliver managed services for in-house IT applications


Desired skills:

  • Familiar with Datasweep (Rockwell) manufacturing functionality
  • Familiar with Datamart and Tableau reporting tools



Within 6-9 Months:

  • Be able to evaluate, design and manage business initiatives
  • Feel comfortable with Fujifilm specific Oracle landscape
  • Be able to implement patches and break fixes for the system
  • Be able to conduct end-to-end system testing
  • Get familiar and follow PMO requirements


Within 9-18 Months:

  • Be able to identify business needs in certain functional areas
  • Be able to contribute to the business/It roadmap
  • Be able to create project estimates with minimum supervision
