Customer Specialist Supervisor


Fujifilm North America Corporation's Graphic Systems Division has an immediate opening for a Customer Specialist Supervisor, to be located in the Hanover Park, IL location. This position supervises a team of customer specialists monitoring the daily activities of the team including all pre-and post-order fulfillment functions including interaction with warehouse, delivery and purchasing departments to ensure best in class customer service to Fujifilm’s customers and sales personnel.  Key responsibilities include managing efficient workflow of the team, assisting with complex customer issues, CS customer assignments, CS workloads, and training and development of team.

  • Foster a work environment that embraces servicing the customer as a top priority. 
  • Manage call volunes and CSR/account manager assignments to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. 
  • Serve as primary contact for 1st line support of escalated issues.
  • Assist with the training on key systems, procedures and policies. 
  • Assists in completing CS skills assessments including monitoring and evaluation of Customer Specialist phone and email commuication to ensure FujiFilm service culture is achieved. 
  • Monitor and manage inventory consignment processes according to company guidelines. 
  • Maintain employee time records and vacation requests.
  • Deliver annual evaluations and preform coaching and/or disciplinary actions as needed. 
  • Develops new processes to support current business needs and study existing processes to ensure efficiency and full adoption by the group.
  • Assist in the interview process for new Customer Specialists.
  • Implement process improvements as directed by his/her manager.
  • Process customer orders/changes and enter data into computer system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries for information in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Compute pricing, discount, and shipping charges, work with credit analyst on credit issues. 


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5 or more years of Customer Service related experience
  • 3 or more years of SAP experience
  • Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), working knowledge of Microsoft applications and outstanding customer service



  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration
  • 2 or more years people management experience in Customer Service, supervising 3 or more people
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • 5 or more years SAP experience
  • Printing Industry experience
