Job Purpose: This position is responsible for providing clinical and technical support to customers, the field sales team, the Service Technical Support Group and to Engineering.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provides clinical and technical support for customers.
    • Provides product and clinical training and ongoing support for field sales team, as needed.
    • Assists in the recruitment, training and management of the Clinical Applications Specialists.
  • Reporting of technical and clinical issues to management.
  • Provides clinical input for development of measurement and analysis software
    • Provides new product and product feature suggestions to Ultrasound Clinical Director.
    • Assists in managing clinical evaluations of new products or new technologies.
    • Assist in the creation of product support information and materials.
    • Helps develop and manage key customer accounts.
    • Collects clinical images for promotion purposes and provides general support for various marketing projects.
    • Professionally represent the company and demonstrate the features, benefits and clinical applications of Fujifilm’s products at trade shows.
    • Learn and maintain expert level knowledge of product features, operation and application.
    • Extensive travel is required.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, post graduate education a plus.
  • 5 years’ experience as a clinical Sonographer.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Application Specialist and/or Clinical Product Manager for a diagnostic ultrasound company.
  • Diagnostic ultrasound teaching experience with a demonstrated ability to develop course curriculum a plus.
  • RDCS, RVT, ARDMS Certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN required.

Physical requirements

  • Usual office and clinical working conditions.
  • Frequently required to sit; talk; or hear.
  • Frequently use fingers to type and do other fine motor tasks.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop; kneel; or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to use personal, public and air transportation.

Additional Needs/Requirements

  • Computer literacy required.
  • Knowledge of digital image storage technology important.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to travel extensively required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
