    FUJIFILM North America Corporation is a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation in Tokyo, Japan that provides equipment, consumables and technical support to the graphic arts industry; digital photo processing equipment, technical support and fulfillment services for commercial and consumer customers; consumer digital cameras, and motion picture films. The company is comprised of five operating divisions: Photo Imaging Products; Graphic Systems Products; Electronic Imaging Products; Motion Picture Film Products; and Optical Devices.

     

    We are currently hiring for an Assistant Product Manager in our Valhalla, NY location.  The Assistant Product Manager will report to the Product Manager and be responsible for assisting with managing Professional Digital Camera products throughout the product life cycle, from development to launch.   The position will also be responsible in helping drive to Sales Budget and delivering target profitability aligned to division goals.  Excel skills and a mathematical mindset are key to success in this role.

     

    Duties include providing support to Marketing Department and the Sales Team, while interacting with internal departments – Supply Chain, Creative Services, Trade Shows, Customer Service, Accounting, Finance, Legal and other assignments as determined.

    Responsibilities:

    PRODUCT MANAGEMENT (70%)

    • Support Product Manager
      • Input new product item number requests into SAP as required.
      • Assist in product forecasting.
      • Authorize return authorizations as required for Customer Service.
      • Participate in vendor meetings, conference calls and presentations.
      • Run sales reports through the SAP / BW System and analyze results.
      • Assist sales as required with product samples, item set-up information, etc.
      • MAP Administration and monitoring on-line pricing and violations of policy.
      • Anayze market data and internal product trends on a regular basis.  Create meaningful data sets and associated visuals for presentations.

     

    • General Departmental Support
      • Manage day to day forecasts, shipments, pricing and expenses (solid mathematical skills).
      • Manage logistics of marketing materials.
      • Manage relationship with our vendors, dealers and photographers.
      • Process invoices for payment.
      • Make changes to customer master as requested.
      • Manage and update customer order templates.
      • Input new product item number requests into SAP as required as well as pricing and Account Contracts.
      • Process no-charge requests for sales, packaging vendors and accounts.

    MARKETING (30%)

    • Trade Show Coordination
      • Work with marketing and product managers to prepare for National Trade Shows & Events
      • Interact with Marketing and internal depts. to determine department needs
      • Attend trade show(s) as required and participate in post-trade show follow ups.

     

    • Marketing Collateral Organization
      • Account Level and POS Sales Tracking
      • Assist in preparing product marketing requirements documents
      • Help identify current and future market opportunities
      • Review product marketing tools with department to determine value and efficiency; update and develop as needed
      • Work with Marketing on managing off site fulfillment house. Assist with print-on-demand requests, web appearance, literature nomenclature and inventory.
      • Assist in literature creation as required.
      • Coordinate sample creation and distribution.

     

     

    Required:

    • An undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is required
    • A minimum of 3 years in a consumer products company
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Possess a can-do self-starter attitude, ability to be flexible with ever-changing timelines and deadlines
    • Presentation skills
    • Extremely detail-oriented
    • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
