    Technical Training Specialist - REMOTE

     

    We are hiring for a Technical Training Specialist for our Industrial Product Division (IPD).  This can be a remote role, but would be required to travel to Stamford, CT very frequently.  As a Technical Training Specialist you will lead the development of training materials, methods, and curriculum for the Fujifilm NDT division. This individual will also be responsible for the training/teaching of the related courses for NDT customers, sales and service engineers.

     

    The Industrial Products Division supplies cutting edge digital imaging and conventional film, chemistry and equipment to the Non-Destructive testing industry. Fujifilm NDT offers a broad array of products and services used throughout the industry.  Digital product offerings include high resolution computed radiography systems (CR), digital detector array (DDA), Imaging plates, and Accessories. Conventional NDT product lines feature a complete line of premium Industrial films, chemistries, and related processing equipment.

     

      Some of the responsibilities are, but not limited to:

     

    External US

    • Update, develop and maintain all NDT training materials and course curriculum to be used for customers, sales, lab & service training.

     

    • Continue to enhance and upgrade course materials to reflect new product launches or product enhancements.

     

    • Work directly with Fujifilm Japan and Fujifilm NDT partners to develop training on all products marketed by the NDT Division

     

    • Development of new training methods.

     

    • Active participant in industry technical committees (ASTM, ASNT, ASME etc.) in support of Fujifilm equipment and software interests.

     

    • Maintain industry compliance of courseware within current and new industry standards.

     

    • Teaching of industry focused level I, II and III 40-hour courses at customer and dealer sites.

     

    • Interface with sales team and dealers by providing product and technical updates and materials to support the selling of NDT products in the field.

     

    • Offer additional training programs to NDT customer to deliver additional revenue to the division.

     

    • Develop and conduct maintenance training for the service organization as it relates to NDT products.

     

    • Provide presentations, technical guidance and expertise as needed.

     

    • Manage the training equipment and shipment to scheduled field training events.

     

    • Active participant in maintaining & enhancing the Fujifilm NDT website.

     

    • Evaluation and analysis of competitive products and preparation of competitive reviews.

     

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    • Ability to travel 50% or more.

     

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree and five years of technical instructor experience.

     

    Desired skills

    • ASNT RT level I, II and III certification is preferred but not required.
