The position is open to candidates currently located in the Greater New York Area (NY, CT or NJ). 


Job Summary:


The desired candidate will be well versed in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK) and General Ultrasound.  Will be responsible for product demonstrations, installations, customer support/service and educational workshops primarily within the Northeast Region.  Will use clinical and medical background in MSK and general ultrasound imaging and procedures to educate, consult and support selling activities of FUJIFILM SonoSite products.  Must have a multi-dimensional skill set to handle clinical, sales, and market development opportunities in addition to developing business within assigned sales territory and Zone.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Create market demand for FUJIFILM SonoSite products by networking, and persuading users, departments, and institutions on the value of FUJIFILM SonoSite’s hand carried compact ultrasound systems and tools for ALL key market segments.
  • Deliver post-sales training, customer retention activities and installations where needed and applicable.
  • Support tradeshows and other marketing activities.
  • Provide product demonstration support in hospitals, clinics, private offices, and other medical facilities, which may include scanning patients or other volunteers.
  • Actively manage new and existing client relationships via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system.
  • Support special projects as necessary.


Knowledge and Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years related work experience in a MSK ultrasound clinical setting, hospital, lab, clinic setting, etc.
  • RMSK or RMSK eligible
  • RDMS in Abdomen or OB/GYN.
  • RDCS or RDCS eligible, RVT or RVT eligible
  • Minimum 2 years related work experience, operating on duplex ultrasound equipment in a general ultrasound clinical (hospital, lab, clinic) setting.
  • Knowledge of the orthopedic, rheumatology, physical medicine, rehabilitation, and sports medicine markets, including injection procedures required.
  • Prior experience in orthopedics, rheumatology, or physiatry required; 2+ yrs preferred.
  • Ultrasound knowledge/teaching experience a strong plus.
  • Commercial applications experience a plus.

  • Experienced with MS Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experienced with project management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relations with all accounts.
  • Strong customer interface and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel 60% or more of the time.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment that requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction.
  • Effectively and appropriately display professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, colleagues.
  • Effectively manage daily tasks. 
  • Work in a well-organized manner, and consistently meets customer and FUJIFILM SonoSite time requirements.
  • Strive for constant improvement; inspire and motivates others.
