    We are currently hiring for a Programmer Analyst / BI Developer.  The Programmer Analyst / BI Developer position will report to the Service Application Manager and be responsible for developing SSRS and BI reporting solutions according with business requirements, as well as developing and maintaining .NET and Web applications as needed. This position will also be responsible for Administering the BI / Reporting system environment (Creating / updating Data warehouse and ETL processes; Creating and maintaining reporting databases). This person should be proficient in SSRS, Microsoft Power BI, Web development techniques, delivery of the reporting solutions to the users, including their mobile devices, and possess deep understanding of multi-dimensional and tabular database modeling and data warehouse design.

    Responsibilities:

    (Including but not limited to)

    • Participating in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and users to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed solution
    • Design and develop different types of SSRS reports including: Drill through reports, Sub reports, Drill down reports based on business requirement
    • Administrating the BI and reporting environment
    • Enhance report performances by tuning the derived tables and join structures
    • Create data warehouse, databases and schema objects including tables, indexes, stored procedures and functions
    • Designing, developing and testing of the ETL strategy to populate the data from various source systems using SSIS
    • Understanding of database administration and performance tuning (SQL server security, query optimization, storage management, indexing, replication, backups, restores, monitoring production jobs)
    • Ability to provide on-call support on the rotation basis
    • Work closely with business departments and other IT areas
    • Work on projects within the IT and business teams to continuously drive operational and efficiency improvements
    • Deployment of software solutions, new and enhancement releases to production across multiple applications
    • Provide proactive support with a high degree of technical competency in accordance with the business requirements, standard working practices and processes of Fujifilm.
    • Routine application administration and maintenance tasks
    • Assist in project planning, scheduling and status reporting
    • Advise and act on corrective actions to stay on project schedule
    • Share knowledge and identify areas for, and contribute toward, improvement
    • Take full responsibility for all testing methodologies of software implementations

     

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in computer science or equivalent certification with 5+ years in related fields.
    • Programming Experience:
      • SSAS, SSIS and SSRS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, DAX, MDX
      • BI Multidimensional and Tabular model, ETL
      • Microsoft .NET C#, ASP.NET, VS2013 or above
      • HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript
      • MS Power BI, Excel
    • Databases:
      • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016 Standard and Enterprise

     

     

    Desired:

    • 5 + years experience with SSRS reporting
    • Experience with Power BI reporting
    • 3+ years experience in Data warehouse design / creation with SSAS, SSIS and SSRS
    • Business background in service industry is a plus.
    • Experience and working knowledge of production system implementations
