Job Summary:


This remote sales manager role is responsible for meeting annual regional sales quota and managing inside resources in assigned region.  This role is responsible for sales from new and existing customers through direct management and coaching of Inside Sales Representatives.  The Manager, Inside Sales will work with the Clinical Applications Manager to ensure field coverage of Inside Sales owned accounts, when needed.



Essential Job Functions:


  • Meet and exceed established revenue goals in assigned region
  • Coach and enable Inside Sales Representatives to meet their individual sales quotas through development of business skills, sales technique, product knowledge, and market development
  • Review individual Inside Sales Representative’s progress towards annual goal by reviewing sales opportunity pipeline, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and closed deals on a regular basis
  • Work with Clinical Applications Manager to ensure that Clinical Application Specialists provide demos in the field to Inside Sales owned customers, when necessary
  • Manage and monitor communication and effectiveness of Inside Sales Team when interacting and collaborating with Clinical Application Specialist team and partner sales channels
  • Recruit and hire high quality Inside Sales Representatives with appropriate experience and skills to meet annual sales goals and build relationships with customers in assigned territory
  • Plan and manage daily KPIs such as sales/support call activity to defined expectations
  • Report all product, marketplace, or staff-related matters of concern to VP, Sales
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key hospitals and other accounts within assigned region
  • Work with Business Development Representatives within their region to support effective and clear lead generation throughout their defined region



Knowledge and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and/or a combination of work history and education.
  • 5-7 years of verified sales experience required with experience in:

Inside sales/contact center required

Management and/or management development program required

Medical sales required

  • Successfully complete client training and meet training expectations
  • Work a schedule that accommodates potentially different time zones
  • Travel to work related meetings and functions as needed (including overnight and/or weekend)
  • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.)
  • Must have a dedicated home office, free from noise and other disturbances
  • Must have access to high-speed internet services from their office, sufficient to support streaming video demonstrations
  • Must be willing to work on-camera through online meetings, leveraging a green screen background


Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Salesforce.com skillset
  • Adept at listening and articulating in both oral and written communication
  • Excellence in process management and organizational ability
  • Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business and healthcare environment
