Job Purpose

 

The Project Manager, Imaging Systems will be responsible for the development and execution of project planning and scheduling. In addition, shall be responsible for analyzing and reporting associated costs of rigging, mechanical installation, site drawings, and other related special services paid by FMSU that are required for the full portfolio of Digital Radiography Imaging Products offered by Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, Inc.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Ensures that site planning, site planning costs, and site planning results are effective and economical.
  • Reports and evaluates costs for site planning, site rigging, and mechanical installation for each project or by sales order for x-ray related projects.
  • Provides project management for all Imaging Systems installations from processed order to customer turnover.
  • Completes site walk-through, provides preliminary Auto CAD site plans for all x-ray related suites and approves final site plans prior to submission to the customer.
  • Reviews the quotations and sales orders for technical accuracy to minimize the potential of change orders or Non-conformance Report (NCR) due to incorrect or missing items that would affect service installation efficiency and costs.
  • Updates their Manager on cost changes and revisions for purchase orders for rigging, planning, and other installation related expenses paid by FMSU.
  • Engages with the customer’s contractor to ensure alterations or build is completed in line with the FMSU plans and addresses any requirements for changes to said plans.
  • Provides status updates to Government Accounts Group, by communicating weekly with the sales and support team members.
  • Attends meetings, maintains communication with sales teams, service teams, transportation management, customers, and others as needed to keep projects moving forward and on schedule.
  • Performs post installation survey and analysis of projects completed to insure high quality standards are maintained.
  • Performs other task or projects as requested by management.

Qualifications 

  • Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related field with a minimum of 5 years technical or military related professional experience or comparable education and work experience.
  • Creative, consultative, communicator with the ability to build relationships to support the evolving needs of customers, employees and the business
  • Experience with Case Management reporting and tracking tools
  • Familiar with Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development ( OSHPD) requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of current IT technologies and common business productivity software, e.g.: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, MS Visio, etc.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team environment
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD LT software a plus

Physical Requirements 

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

 

TRAVEL:

Ability to travel 75% of time- includes time spent in the field and at corporate offices.
