The Clinical Applications Specialist will work collaboratively with customers (distributor partners) in the Latin American market, contributing to the successful regional business by developing and executing clinical applications strategies to the Company’s Medical Informatics portfolio, including but not limited to presales consultation, product education training, demonstrations and, applications support.

  • Serve as software application expert and primary regional contact to customers and, being a clinical liaison to internal team members with the goal of strengthening end-user relationships and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with appropriate FUJIFILM internal resources and customers to provide for continuous improvement of procedures and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in new solution introductions, collaborating with all of FUJIFILM internal resources and working effectively in a cross-functional team environment in order to ensure the success of the product.
  • Develop and deploy clinical application best practices strategies, including training, presentations, videos and other materials as required, to educate and teach customers and end-users about the company’s medical informatics portfolio.
  • Support the existing key opinion leaders (KOLs) network and, develop meaningful relationships across the region.
  • Monitor, resolve and escalate, if applicable, the clinical application inquiries regarding issues and configuration; troubleshooting when needed. Assess problems remotely and/or in the field and report to appropriate members with proposed solution(s).
  • Provide dedicated clinical support (design and implementation) for Enterprise projects, workshops, trade shows and more within the region.
  • Assist the customer’s sales teams with product configuration and, clinical application consulting services.
  • Work with customers to develop and deliver customized clinical application demonstration and training to end-users.
  • Adhere to the FUJIFILM's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensure that all job duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ability to convey advanced clinical materials to a Spanish speaking customer base.
  • Stay abreast of the latest product, industry, clinical/technology advances through continuous education.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by management.



  • Minimum 5 years-medical informatics experience – radiology technologist or similar clinical role, clinical or product specialist - mandatory.
  • At least 3 years - experience working directly with customers and end-users – mandatory
  • Fluent Spanish language (native or similar level). More than intermediate level fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred in either - Biomedical Engineering or Radiology.
  • Strong communication, relationship management and customer orientation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate the need for proactive communication and planning at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines



  • Ability to travel 60% of the time within Latin America region, US and some other international travel.
