FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an early to mid-level compensation analyst to join our HR team. The Compensation Analyst is an experienced professional on the FMSU HR team owning the compensation processes, procedures and overall execution of the division’s compensation practices. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, has an eagerness to learn, and curiosity to problem solve. 

 

This position based in Lexington, MA with the opportunity for remote work during the pandemic. This position reports to the Executive Director, Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day client group support of compensation needs coordinating closely with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and business leaders
  • Educate HRBP and business leaders on compensation philosophy, programs and processes
  • Actively participate in the successful implementation and management of regular compensation activities including annual compensation planning cycle, salary survey participation, bonus program administration, etc.
  • Develop and maintain the compensation plan documents for various pay programs
  • Review and approve employment offers – consulting with Talent Acquisition, HRBP and business leaders
  • Conduct compensation benchmark assessments, and actively seek market intelligence and industry specific data to inform appropriate solutions for assigned clients
  • Evaluate, level and determine appropriate market value for new and existing jobs
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and assigned clients in the creation of consistent job families
  • Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses and projects

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Compensation experience in a diverse business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree - Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or Business degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Strong understanding of compensation practices and trends, with emphasis on technology roles
  • Experience is working with Sales on sales incentive compensation design preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the day to day compensation needs of a large, varied client group
  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on compensation principles and philosophy
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences
  • Ability to understand and relate to multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a flexible, often ambiguous environment

Physical Requirements:

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

 

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.
