Overview

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist with protein chemistry experience to work in the Analytical Development group. The position will primarily provide support of product formulation and analytical development for biopharmaceuticals, including monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins; Responsible for sample preparation using automated systems, executing experimental studies and summarizing data, and producing high-quality documentation with supervision.

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist with protein chemistry experience to work in the Analytical Development group. The position will primarily provide support of product formulation and analytical development for biopharmaceuticals, including monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins; Responsible for sample preparation using automated systems, executing experimental studies and summarizing data, and producing high-quality documentation with supervision.

The successful candidate requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Hands-on experience in using methods for protein/mAb analysis, including but not limited to UV, HPLC/UPLC, IEF, and CE-SDS
  • Familiarity with biophysical methods for protein/mAb characterization, such as CD, DSC, MFI, and light scattering, is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work individually or as part of a team, and problem solving capabilities of standard laboratory techniques.
  • Have strong oral communication skills.
  • In addition, the successful candidate must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with defined deliverables and deadlines

Experience

BS and 1+ year’s lab experience or equivalent
