The Manager, Systems Engineering and Integration is responsible for the management of the medical infomatics validation team.  This role is responsible for the management of resources and projects necessary for the release of Fuji product hardware and software integrations.  Responsible for development of project plans, integration test plans, test matrices, product testing, including determination of risk, documentation, training and project results communication. Position will be responsible for development of Synapse special projects, software customization development and implementation development. Person will be responsible for investigation and evaluation of new technology utilized in FMSU Synapse Product lines. Manage and recommendation of new technology, testing and approval of product through commercial release or engineering teams. Manager responsible for communication between engineering and integration for new hardware, systems design, products, software changes including testing, and new information dissemination. Positions will work with all FMSU teams on process development and product customization management. This position requires interaction with sales, technical support, field service, the end user, outside vendors and all other service and administrative groups within Fuji involved in the order through remittance process.  Must develop relationships and communication channels to ensure status feedback and cooperation with shareholders.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Hardware and Software Commercial release process management with FMSU Product Management teams
  • Development and review of work instructions, test plans/matrices, results reporting
  • Synapse special projects including custom development and implementation development.
  • Responsible for management of the Department of Defense Validation Team and working with the Department of Defense (FMSU team) sales, marketing and project management teams.
  • Responsible for evaluation and testing of new technology that may be utilized with Synapse.
  • Partnering with engineering on integration and deployment process development and product customization management.
  • Management, advisory and consultant for Synapse third party configuration and settings and installation/service guides.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Synapse implementation tools and documentation.
  • Develop systems for document control and management.
  • Develop, update, and review documentation on Synapse Intranet website
  • Responsible to act as the point of contact between Engineering and Integration for new products, software changes including testing, and new information dissemination
  • Coordinate activities and communication between the Project Implementation teams and Marketing/Sales/Engineering.


  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, such as computer science or related field, equivalent work experience considered.
  • 5-10 years full time experience working with Windows servers and workstations in a technical nature.
  • Expertise in setup and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Team Management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with database setup and structure, Oracle preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to receive and communicate technical information.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, MS Project, and project management software.
  • Experience in managing web applications, product upgrades and new technology acquisitions.
  • Must be very organized and multi-tasking.
  • Experience in working with, managing, and resolving customer problems and issues.
  • Must be a leader and be able to marshal resources in a complex matrix environment.
  • Experience in DICOM protocol, general computer network technology, high performance computing systems, and archival storage systems.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • VCP, MCSE is highly desired
  • Knowledge of Radiology workflow.  Knowledge of Radiology and Hospital player, roles and responsibilities.

Physical requirements

  • The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:
  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.




Occasional travel may be required based on business need (up to 30%)
