The Application Administrator, Master Data is responsible for the daily activities involving the Customer Master in SAP as well as performing order activities.  This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction to the business as well as to maintain the integrity of customer information in SAP.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

Enter and maintain Customer Accounts in SAP

  • Verify and link partners as needed
  • Understand the relationship between partners
  • Maintain customer group status as needed
  • Maintain price group status as needed
  • Create hierarch records for Salesforce.com
  • Block and release customers as needed
  • Ensure data is correct
  • Continuously monitor for corrections and updates
  • Responsible for all master data clean-up or update projects including testing

Create and maintain Condition Records and Listings/Exclusions

  • Create Customer-material discounts based on material groups/materials
  • Enter Material list prices
  • Create and maintain Specialized or Contract pricing
  • Create Scale pricing
  • Enter and maintain Validity periods
  • Run Pricing reports
  • Respond to Customer price queries
  • Maintain customer Listings and Exclusions

 Create and maintain Output Condition Records

  • Set up Output Condition records for Order Acknowledgments, Packing Lists, and Invoices
  • Ensure correct Invoice Types are entered and maintained

Responsible for Customer Tax Status

  • Run monthly reports for expiring or expired certificates
  • Send communication to customers for new/updated certificates
  • Change tax status
  • Work closely with HLUS Tax Dept and Finance
  • Maintain all tax data in the Customer Master record in SAP

Point of Contact for all audits

  • Gather all needed documents as directed
  • Submit prior or by due date

Enter Cloud and Overages orders

  • Enter above orders as needed
  • Assist Order Entry and Contracts teams as needed

Idoc Support

  • Point of contact for Idoc failures
  • Correct/maintain/release failed Idocs

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 3-5 years of experience working with customer master or orders
  • Strong knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Office and Google docs
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Lightning preferred
  • Experience working in a quality controlled and validated system a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills are a plus.
  • Self-directed with high energy and motivation.
  • Ability to achieve results and deliver on committed timelines and objectives
  • Ability to assist in future SAP upgrade projects and testing
  • Proven ability to influence and build effective working relationships with customers, peers, and external providers

Physcial Requirements 

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

TRAVEL

  • Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
