Job Summary:


The Marketing Communications Manager, Service, Education and Brand is responsible for developing and executing the customer communication strategy to drive awareness, demand generation and strengthened brand equity.  This individual will work closely with product management, clinical marketing and regional marketing to develop all product, solution, campaign and program related communications and ensure that all messaging and content produced support the FFSS brand.  The individual in this role will develop excellent, in-depth knowledge of the point-of-care ultrasound clinical environment, market needs, customers, and Fujifilm Sonosite solutions to lead the development of messaging and communication that resonates with target customers around the globe.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Collaborate with product management, clinical marketing and regional marketing to develop messaging strategies that articulate and deliver upon the value proposition of Fujifilm Sonosite (FFSS) Service, Education and FF HLUS solutions for key stakeholders.
  • Stay current with customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity and share insights with cross-functional teams to optimize product, campaign and program messaging and content development for all marketing channels including digital marketing.
  • Develop regional and segment-specific messaging and content management strategies that work in concert to amplify a consistent message globally.
  • Work with product management to develop messaging for new product launch activities.
  • Partner with clinical marketing to develop messaging for key programs that aid customers in addressing the quadruple aim.
  • Work with NA, EU and indirect marketing teams to develop messaging and content for key programs, campaigns and customer facing activities such as tradeshows and workshops.
  • Partner with external vendors for development and production of materials, including photography, video, graphics and more.
  • Work with digital marketing for omnichannel strategies and deployment of content. Establish metrics and measure results, sharing with peers to optimize messaging and content management.
  • Work with peers to ensure a coordinated approach with the perspective of the sales team and customer in mind.


Knowledge and Experience:


  • 5+ years of experience in branding and communications, ideally medical devices but not required
  • Proven track record of developing messaging and content management strategies and execution tied to results
  • Solid writing and editing capability and eye for graphic design, ability to work within brand guidelines
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and provide meaningful insights
  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, customer, our business, and the competitive landscape
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work and lead under tight deadlines and pressures
  • Exercises independent judgment and decisions while managing all aspects of projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Cross-functional team leadership, ability to lead through influence
  • Strong communication skills and experience providing updates to all levels of the organization
  • BS degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferred


Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to understand both the clinical and business needs of the customer and FFSS, respectively
  • Strong and deep marketing experience, from strategy to execution
  • Ability to develop plans, forecasts, budgets
  • Broad leadership skills and a proven ability to focus on execution and result
  • Excellent persuasive communication skills in both writing and speaking plus the ability to build relationships with key outside influencers
