The processing technician is responsible for the receiving of scopes, entering information in
computer systems, operating process equipment, and cleaning equipment and general sanitation.
The department operates equipment that is highly automated. Processing is responsible for
product quality as well as regulatory and audit compliance.
Duties and responsibilities
Monitor and control automated cleaning equipment.
Accurately document processes and input information in company systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
Communicate issues to appropriate parties.
Must be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals.
Have a strong mechanical aptitude, be a proven problem solver and be proficient with written and
Methodical thinker that can receive and process information in a short amount of time.
Quick learner that is able to make decisions on his/her own and troubleshoot problems.
Mathematical skills needed.
Must be able to multitask.
Must be self-motivated to continue learning.
Must have good people skills and interact with several departments.
High School Diploma required.
Must be a team player.
Previous experience operating scope reprocessing equipment a plus. Previous experience in medical
device/endoscopy a plus as well.
Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point proficient.
Overtime and occasional weekends may be necessary.

requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations
