FUJIFILM Dimatix is looking for a motivated person to join our Electrical Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of a mix of high speed digital and analog circuits as well as implementation of the associated test equipment. This candidate must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems with minimal supervision. This position focuses on electrical engineering; however, a solid foundation of knowledge in mechanical engineering, physics and chemistry is highly desirable. This is a hands-on position requiring creative thinking and an eagerness to tackle new challenges.

Electrical Engineer designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.



  • Design, simulate and prototype analog, digital and power amplifier circuitry
  • Develop test methodology for circuits and systems
  • Perform research and technology development activity
  • Troubleshoot and analyze electronic assemblies to identify root cause failure modes

  • 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years of related experience with a Master’s degree; or  3 years of related experience with a PhD.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Excellent understanding of analog and digital circuits, power amplifiers, simulation and signal integrity
  • Working knowledge of PCB design principles and associated design tools (Altium preferred)
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills to the component level
  • Problem-solving skills utilizing science and engineering to arrive at practical solutions
  • Ability to work alone or in teams in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and cross-functional teams
  • Engineering documentation skills including product specifications, test procedures, analytical reports, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Experience with EMC and associated regulatory standards and certification testing
  • ESD protection design experience
  • Experience with mechanical design and modelling tools (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Firmware and software experience in C, assembly, .NET, LabView and/or Verilog
  • Experience with Atmel AVR, PIC, Xilinx FPGA
  • Project management experience
  • System level design experience
  • Database experience
  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certification

  • Will spend time in a laboratory, clean room, light manufacturing and office environments
